What was the 3rd condiment?

I think I found a compelling argument for DT to start selling full body conversions… As a matter of fact, Amal will likely want to go full robot after seeing this:

A 50/50 mix of the two others so you only have to shake once

Knowing humanity, probably garlic… I find it disgusting but people keep putting it into everything for some reason…

My bet is sugar

Paprika

My guess is, it would have been regional and maybe changed over time also.

The first time I heard about it, the suggestion was mustard powder.
I have also heard sugar, but it depends on the shape of the dispenser/ shaker

I would make a lot of sense, especially if sugar was significantly more expensive back in the day. And since the change to the current containers would’ve been pretty ordinary, it would’ve blended with the background noise.

[vent]An infuriating thing about SMS based 2 factor authentication is that it kinda locks you to your country.

“You moved somewhere else and changed your mobile number? Fuck you!”[/vent]

it bothers me that spoofing SMS 2FA codes has been a known issue for years and companies still insist on it being the default or backup.

I used one of those prepaid visa cards about 20 years ago to pay for something that would have had nearly uncancellable recurring fees. It was a throwaway, but I had to setup an account etc.

15 years after that, I tried to get a prepaid walmart card. Turns out it was the same company.

Spent forever with customer support trying to geuss a 15 year old password, or remember what flippant answer I’d given to the “favorite food” security question.

Would not just cancel the long dormant account either.

Long story short, I can never have a prepaid Wally-World card again.

A legit bad actor could probably figure out a way in with minimal effort.

I’m literally trying to talk to support on a website I use frequently which REFUSES to use any other 2FA than SMS and you cannot disable it. It’s fucking 2025 assholes… otp or fido is the bare minimum standard at this point.

Either let me use something better than SMS or let me disable 2FA altogether and simply use one of my very long passwords. Especially if it’s some irrelevant site that won’t have that much personal information anyways…

But I guess that since most people only have one citizenship and stay in the same country where their mothers went into labor, the geographical attachment that SMS2FA creates is not a common consideration.

I’d argue the only consideration is how easy it is for web devs to implement. This upcoming generation of vibe coders will only make this worse.

Oh, not even just ‘companies’. (I know this is probably TMI, but at this point its a major enough issue where I don’t care:) One of my fucking BANKS requires SMS to be one of the second factor options. As in you can have your email for example, but you cannot not have a phone number as an option. Oh and OTP codes? We can’t have those newfangled things protecting your savings account, no!

(Note: In a fucked up way I’m kind of happy that this bank is so stuck up that you need to go in physically to do much more than pull from an ATM, so it’s somewhat secure at the end of the day)
