The official Titan crowdfunding campaign thread

more and more that seems likely… I am having trouble scheduling the sterilization even… and the caddy trays from @Satur9 and @darthdomo (i will send a label to you) will probably arrive next week as it is… so yeah… not looking great for pre-christmas delivery…

You’re not thinking creatively enough.

If you ship by Jan 7, 2021, you can make it for Christmas - orthodox Christmas. If you aim for a christian holiday, you might as well pick the christian denomination that suits you best.

I couldn’t care less, piercers are closed here.
No problem with waiting another month or so, personally.

I can get to a piercer, but it sure wouldve been nice to combine healing time and my extended vacation time.

Yea, as said earlier, my closest partner requires crossing to Canada and that ain’t happening till covid calms down so I’m not too bothered

More pro delay reasons: pay customs + install after xmas, I’m actually home when the titan arrives, I can use both hands to open presents… I know it sucks for you but it’s perfect for me!

Is it really going to cost $500 to those who were not backers?

If you’re talking about the theoretical but fairly likely second run of Titan magnets, then it will probably be less. BUT! Thats just an unofficial guesstimate. We gotta finish the first batch first.

Just a heads up, it was $500 for those who were backers, too.

For me it was like

Yeah, it was like - I just got paid… time to spend it all instead of saving! :joy:

The funny thing is that I almost wish I’d backed two now…

The funny thing is that I was almost wishing the other day that I’d found a way to back four instead of the two that I did get.

There is no end to this cycle.

Well guys, I can tell you that the crowdfunding approach to the more expensive-to-make and exotic products has been proven a winner in my book. I’m sure we will be having another Titan round, provided we get a good solid run of positive customer feedback after shipment of this batch… so maybe next round could be expected to open around Feb 2021 or so. No pricing set for that round yet, but it will not include the coupon perk or marking perk… maybe not even commercial batch sterilization if the batch size remains smaller… so in other words, not $500.

No hall of fame either I assume?

Did they keep the tooling? Wasn’t that part of the reason why it had to be designed? Would that make it easier in the future?

Ours too.

Well shit, sounds like I need to save just in case other things come out like this… as it was I think I bought my Titan in the last few days

Nope

Yes this was a major part of the cost component up front for the first batch.

Are you thinking of applying the same idea to a differrent product? Magnets had a lot of pent up demand, I don’t know of another product that could harness that kind of energy. But, then again, there’s alot that I don’t know.
