Trying to load iceman firmware, and get stuck on waiting for Proxmark to appear…

Sample size of one, but it appears to work just fine now. Thanks!

Iceman, I didn’t look through anything. If all that was done was a change to how the COM port was determined, I wouldn’t think this would be a call out for others who were not stuck on ‘waiting for Proxmark’ to quickly pull the new version- correct?

Not sure I follow there. it always best to be on latest source.

However, don’t forget to compile and flash your device when pulling latest source from Github.

If you uninstalled WMIC, and according to your screenshot, the client found a working serial port which would indicate it works out of the box.

Yeah this pulls the source update but you’ve not compiled the updated source. After pulling down updates you need to make clean && make all to compile those changes to new firmware and client… then you need to pm3-flash-all to update the new firmware to the hardware… theeen you run the new and improved pm3 script / client

I was most concerned about the new pm3 script grabbing the port properly. I have now updated and refreshed everything- still no issues.
