xGlow Now Available!

“Let it glow,” might be the slogan of 2025… When blink isn’t enough or if scarifcation isn’t your jam, we now offer the xGlow a 3x15mm implant made with our new resin process.

It comes in two colors: green and aqua.

Ahhh!!! How bright are the two colors under the skin? As bright as the Xled (in my case blue) or dimmer (right after charging)? Sorry if there’s a different thread saying, haven’t been on here in awhile!

Interesting!
How well can it be “charged” once it’s implanted under the skin?

Phone flash LED does a descent job… or you can opt to get our UV flashlight add-on

I guess we wait for someone to place one next to an xLED so we can find out!

I already have a powerful one  .

But my question was: is it easy to “refill the glow” once it’s under the skin ? Or does it take ages to have a satisfying and long-lasting enough glow ?

It’s hard to give a qualified answer because there is so much subjectivity surrounding products like this. I can say that out of the body the glow is similar to our Glow Powder in terms of brightness and longevity. That is saying something, because our powder is probably the brightest and longest lasting glow material I’ve come across.

That said, the brightness (and therefor how long it will be visible for) will depend heavily on your skin tone, depth of installation, blood and scar tissue surrounding the implant, etc. I will try to do some side by side comparisons with the xGlow, xLED, and some glow powder under something like a few layers of tissue paper to help visualize.

As to your question about how long it takes to charge up, we have a few tests in the field. I believe @Satur9 can comment as to what he does to charge it up. His placement is a bit… unusual. I will let him post photos here and explain his experiences thus far.

Glowy winky?

I kinda want one some for my hands, but would prefer such implants to be easy to hide. So I’m conflicted on the matter and any inspiration could help.

In terms of how easy they charge, my Memora Implant charges while sitting on the couch. When I go to bed, the implant has a a subtle glow I can see laying down in bed.

Before we go to bed, we usually have about two lamps and a tv running, to put it in perspective. Granted, not the xGlow, but I assume the xGlow will glow brighter since mines got ashes mixed in.

It takes a few seconds of direct and focused exposure with a UV keychain light or a phone flashlight to get any noticeable glow. I couldn’t get much with ambient light exposure. I’ll go try and lay out in sunlight today and then go directly into a dark room and see under ideal conditions

If there was no blinky winky would there be so much interest in a glowy winky?

Green is usually the brightest color when it comes to glow in the dark stuff. It also chargers easier and glows longer than other colors.

I hope that this helps.

Probably not. But a glowy winky makes more sense than a blinky one. No phone required in bed!

For reference my implant in the picture above is green, it’s just common that phone cameras wash out green glow and interpret it as blue

May I propose Glowy Gland

The phone cameras just don’t cooperate with maximum brightness to maximum darkness transitions in the same video session very well, but I tried. It’s pretty subtle. The xGlow is brighter than the xGlo (classic DT naming snafu :face_with_hand_over_mouth: I swear you do this shit on purpose to keep us guessing) for a short period (~10min?) after charging, and it stays very dimly lit for hours.

I might have suggested GLOWSTIx but there is a problem with it

I was thinking more along the lines of “The Green Goblin”.
