It’s incredible to see the progress in bio-hacking and implantable tech. The photos of the xGlow are amazing! It’s definitely a fascinating new option for those who are interested in this space. The community here is always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and it’s exciting to follow along with the new developments.

Went with the xGlows between p1 - p2 on both hands (one in each hand). It’s been little less than a week now after installation and with a relatively strong bicycle light I can get them glow quite nicely. (Discovered this last night so was quite exited ) My current UV lights seems to not work for them atm (didn’t get the light from DT). Still some bruising on hands so let’s hope those get even more brighter in a few weeks but I was expecting brightness like this from them in the end so quite happy

Looking for recommendations of lights to use with my xGlow and glow powder.

I’ve currently got two - the Dangerous Things flashlight, which works well with my scarification but doesn’t yet charge my one-week-old xGlow, and a large 395nm torch that does make my implant shine.

Have heard that 450nm-470nm lights work with xGlow but they’re not cheap in my part of the world.

What is everybody else using?

Works really well for me

I present to you a freshly installed green xGlow freshly charged with a UV light through a hydrocolloid gel next to a blue xSIID being powered by a flipper0.

And here it is by itself (remember through skin, blood, and hydrocolloid gel).

I just wanna say… I don’t think there is any hiding your glow with the green ones …. It is very visible even without being charged. Just from average daily light exposure. Picture doesn’t do it justice .. but it’s definitely visible…. I’m happy with it…. But someone else might not be :face_holding_back_tears::smiling_face_with_tear::sob::sob:

If I don’t report back… well, it’s been nice knowing y’all. :joy:

Freshly charged with UV light. It’s obvious one is an LED vs the “glow stick” but it’s pretty darn bright. Still needs to clear up some more. I installed one in each hand st P1

I’m tempted to get 2 more for P3

Bevel position changes the (depth) brightness. On my left I installed with the point up and bevel towards the skin. On the right I installed with the bevel facing up and the point laying against the skin. My left charged by ambient daylight much better and is noticably brighter when fully charged. That said. The right is still pretty bright. I’ll get comparison pictures at some point.
