(*****) xMagic đź’‰

My review of the xMagic above was actually my 2nd review, the first I hid from myself BUT I just found it. (almost completed draft)

Its going to be mostly the same, but rather than delete it, lets just call this my alter egos review, and we just happen to agree.

From my very first implant ( NExT Implant ) I was super happy, but I felt like I was missing something, I just didn’t know what that was!? ; as I learnt more about RFID tech, I finially realised what it was…

I needed a HF / LF 2 in 1 implant, with changable UID for both.

Most of us have been there; you arrive at a hotel, before walking through the door, you search for the after hours swipe access, next you are handed you room card, you search the card for further clues as to what RFID tech it is using, you hop in the elevator, and whip out your phone, scan the card as you hope for no read ( yay, it’s LF and easy to clone ) OR fingers crossed, please be 4 byte Mifare classic ( yes ! this could be doable )

The “problem” for many can be, lack of access to professional installers that are safely capable of installing a FlexMT or hand real estate to fit a FlexEM and FlexM1

The answer

The xMAGIC is an xSeries (bio-glass) implant.

3mm x 15mm

and comes in an Avid microchip injector assembly :syringe:

  • T5577 Chip for “ALL” your LF needs

  • Mifare Classic gen1a 1k chip for ALMOST all your HF needs

It comes with the usual, professional and associated installation equipment

The xMagic kit contains the following products and materials, which are designed to enable you to bring the kit to a professional installation partner for installation. LINK

1 sterile injector assembly, pre-loaded with xMagic chip implant

2 single use ChloraPrep antiseptic wipes

1 sterile gauze pad for post-installation wound care

1 sterile expandable-fabric adhesive bandage

1 pair of non-sterile, non-latex procedure gloves

This is the implant I have wanted for years,

I was still happy with my xM1 and xEM combination in my #L0 and it’s finally here, So it was a matter of out with the old, and in with the new (and improved)

To really get the best use out of this implant, you really should get yoursel a ProxMark3

here are some useful guides:-

The selling points of the xMAGIC are:

1 implant - 2 Chips

LF Emulator covers most common LF tech

HF Changable UID and keys for “probably” the most common HF chip still in use today

Minimal realestate

Single install

Single visit to and piercer payment

single hole to heal

BONUS FEATURE * with Caveat

The ability to use the 1k storage as NDEF

Range not as good as a Flex option

Forest gump, thats all i have to say about that

I rated this implant as a 5 Star, but I may be a little Biased as I have wanted this implant for a long time. Removing that Bias, I would rate it as a 4.5 losing the .5 to the reduced range, but that should be expected and it is a physics issue, NOT the xMAGIC’s issue, now I am arguing and justifying it to myself…Either way, Just get yourself an xM1, you wont be disapointed

I was going to add some, but people can just ask and I (or someone else can answer below)
