I have been diving deep into biohacking and implant tech lately but on a parallel track, I have also started getting into the whole AI space generative models. I know it is kind of a different world but I can not help but feel there is some crossover potential here.
Like, imagine combining real-time biometric data with AI to tweak environmental feedback or even exploring personalized neural-feedback tools. Wild stuff, right?
Welcome to nerdville. Population, who knows??? We got all types from technical gods to artistic spirits. I think (maybe) there’s 4-6 of us actively playing with A.I. but I’m pretty sure we got some lurkers and people who are just quietly plugging away at it.
Anywho, THE BEST part of the community here is that if you try something weird, inspiring, unusual, or just plain stupid and you run into a wall, at least a couple of people are gonna chime in and do their damndest to work the problem with you.
With that in mind, fill us in.
What have you got hardware wise? And what do you want hardware wise? Maybe you’ve got a laptop now, and you want a dedicated PC, or go crazy to surplus servers.
Where are you at / going software wise? Linux / Ollama / Model of your choice, is the most common route, I think.
For inspiration, I’d suggest:
xBT a body temperature sensor. (Short range, limited uses)
These two threads from way back. #1 and #2 in which a forum member used a implant to track when he was in / out of his chair. (could you track location in your home, it’s been discussed a couple of times)
Also I’m pretty sure someone was planning a foot implant to activate floor mounted sensors for location tracking.
Combine some of that with both A.I. and maybe homeassistant and you could definitely get weird.
