Got it installed! As my first flex the install process was quite interesting lol but my installer made it as easy as possible. I’ve already been able to get quite a few reads for payment, Tesla NAK, and NDEF but I will post more some videos of me using it in the coming days. The range is quite impressive.
I went with Etherfi because of the cashback and honestly the klarna verification process was more painful surprisingly. Payment works great.
I haven’t had sutures in many years and I hate having the constant fear that they are going to rip out but I’m going to change out the dressing and see how they’re doing in the next few hours. Also I am going to make sure the implant hasn’t migrated too much (the pocket was tight so not too worried). I decided to go chip up and went with the outer forearm position and am so far very happy.
Very much looking forward to getting the sutures removed but not looking forward to doing that myself in the coming weeks! Does anyone have any aftercare tips?

Quick DESFire update: yes, it supports EV3 emulation but not EV3C*. Can you use it? Not yet. We gotta make a thing.
*the “C” seems to be for “Classic.” You can setup MFC in a DESFire applet on these guys.

Keep it up guys, this is awesome! New site looks really nice as well! (although maybe a little cluttered and hard to navigate)
Also, do we know if a larger run is guaranteed? If so, any price estimate? Or pick one up now if I want one?

Can you elaborate? The entire point was to make it easier to find products if you had no idea where to start–if we failed at that…

Don’t get me wrong, it is definitely better than the old site! This is entirely subjective stuff, so my intuition/preference could be unpopular.
- The blank space at the top of the home page seems a bit wasteful.
- The buttons in the center of the home page seem partially redundant to the buttons on the top right of the page.
- Information could be consolidated a bit. I feel there are too many separate cards in different sections that are somewhat redundant or could be consolidated.
Here is an example of something closer to what I’d do (compared to the current site). I didn’t include the 3D hand thing for this quick mock-up.

Is this a new app? Doesn’t look like Apex Manager, is it the Cybernetic one? Is the Apex 2 compatible with both apps? I assume applets are still managed by the Fidesmo app?
Also, have any of you gotten it installed in Lansing, MI recently? I think I might be going to the same installer if I decide to grab one

NFC Identifier. It does not manage apps–just identifies and profiles transponders to help people find the right implants

I haven’t had my install done yet (planning to get to it soon!) but as this will be my first module, I’d like to know a couple of things:
- Is it considered a Bad Idea to put a module in the back of the hand? I have pretty large hands and there should be plenty of room to put it in without it flexing at all when my hand moves, but could this lead to failure over time?
- Will I notice worse performance if I install it with the chip facing down, and if so, is it worth worrying about? My assumption is that a chip down install will be less likely to get caught on things.
