Was checking up on the site again to see if there was anything I missed since last time and ran across the dNExT.
I saw it and knew instantly that I wanted one cause I really wanted a flexnext but missed the chance cause I didn’t have much money back then and wasn’t sure how I’d get it installed. Which brings me to the question, how do I get this installed?
I checked the guide for approaching piercing parlors but it’s kinda a decade old at this point and only really mentions the plunger injectables. How would I go about describing this to a parlor place and convincing them to help me on this by letting me get an appointment to have them implant it for me? All of the other times I’ve gotten implants here it was plunger kits and I just kinda did it myself so I have zero frame of reference other than the few times I’ve gotten tattoos.
I’ve found a place near where I’m currently stationed for work (kansas city area-ish) that I might have a decent shot at convincing and was getting ready to enter something into their “Get In Touch“ box at the bottom of the store page and then I realized, I have no idea what to write here other than “Hey, do you think you can help me put this in my arm??“ and then linking the product page.
I don’t wanna blow it or scare them off because I would like to find a willing place before ordering one so that the box isn’t just sitting there in my hotel rooms for months and bouncing around in my luggage as I travel around. Anyone with more experience on this have thoughts on how I should approach this?
I don’t feel that is the correct approach for an advanced install. It makes sense for x-Series and 4g installs because they’re familiar with the stabbing. You want someone who is experienced in body mods like split tongues and silicone implants. If there is no one in your area, checking with traveling installers like Shawn O’Hare, Aaron Malibu, or Dana Marie Dracula.
Tac0s post above is a sensible idea, as an alternative
This may also be an option
And provide them with a link to the product you choose
Speaking of which
I just want to check you know what you are getting and to see what you want to do with it.
There maybe other options…
My assumption is you have done your homework and you mainly want the BLINK…with a little functionality? If so, the dNExT is a great option
Where and how do you plan on using it?
If you are wanting to do more with an implant, let us know and we can help point you in the right direction
Uh no, not military. My job just moves me around a lot and it felt like the right phrase to use (warehouse automation)
And yeah when looking for the “how to approach“ post I found and checked rechecked the installer map cause the original time I checked it back when the flex was still being sold there was nothing in my home state so I hadn’t gone back to check it in a while til I remembered Im not currently in my home state.
The two I currently have are x series NExT and a green xSIID NFC. I like them both and use em frequently but also for the one with the led it’s usually pressed right up against a scanner at specific angles when I use it to the point I hardly get to see or even display it. So I felt like having something like dNExT would be nice to have for practical functionality, aesthetic flashiness, and best range/ease of use for no phone readers like doors and maybe safe locks. Was thinking it would be nice to have on the back of my left wrist since I like having watches on my right
