I’m debating on getting one of the implantable field detectors (and possibly incorporating it into a tattoo) but a factor that would play a big role would be if I could turn the LED off and on from something in my pocket or bag (so a distance of like, 2 feet).
Is there a feasible or realistic way to do this? A small-ish transmitter that throws a 13.56 mhz signal (it wouldn’t even need to be a “clean” signal since I just want to induce the detector to turn on; I don’t need to read data or anything).
Wearable power sources have been discussed before, but I don’t think there’s anything readily available that sounds like it would meet your expectations
Get the tattoo first, do not attempt to get a tattoo over the top of an implant.
This would be a good option.
As the form factor is very similar, Your decision should be do you want it always on (xGlow)
or do you want it on only when “turned on” basically a momentary switch…
