now that’s “evil”
so it’s poppin notifications to everyone in bt range, that there is a new air-whatever device?

That’s what it looks like. And I love messing with apple fan boys

Recap on my most recent experiment. Playing extensively with the Xtreme in the last few days.
Extreme has some nice gui improvements BUT it doesn’t strike me as a very stable one.
When I tried control over BT, it’s slow as hell compared to official and unleashed.
Next for the last few days I’ve experienced at least 2-3 crashes. Starting apps installed from the flipper store and playing around with it in general.
Next I decided to see what’s cooking in the code. Cloned latest unleashed and xtreme and did a diff with Meld. I can see some of the bugs already addressed in unleashed code are still present in xtreme.
That kinda sucks because xtreme has a nice gui and some features lacking from unleashed.
My personal opinion is that Xtreme needs a lil bit more dev love to reach the stability levels of unleashed. For the rec, since I got the flipper, two months ago, I am rocking unleashed on it and it did not crashed even once. So yeah, that’s mostly it. I will spend few more days playing and make my mind if I rollback to the backup I did before I started testing.

Hey @Hamspiced check this out. Sounds like the apple feature got cooked in an app( this is xtreme dev branch).

Here’s a stl for a new flipper case.

Does not print well on fdm. So those with resin give it a shot.

I guess which ever it “sees” first

Feeling bored today, decided to build Xtreme from source and test the new apple app

Using Xtreme for 2 weeks already, I can say I am officially sold! I love it.
Thanks @Pilgrimsmaster, you opened the pandora’s box with your popl topic.

I’m working on a project and I want to dump the firmware from a pic microcontroller(likely from ICSP) and a separate EEPROM. I was wondering if anyone is aware of flipper apps that can do either of these things? I do have other microcontrollers and can stumble my way through the programming needed. But it would be a lot easier if someone else has already done the legwork.

If anyone’s been on the edge of buying one and likes the return of clear electronics, they have a limited drop of flippers with transparent cases for the same price as the regular flippers.

I love my black Flipper, but the transparent one is so sexy!

I bought a resin printer and translucent purple resin specifically to print myself a replacement clear purple case to match my atomic purple Game Boy color/switch/steam deck but I can’t properly ventilate it in my current living arrangement

Maybe one day I can fix up my flipper with some fabulous fins.

I second all of this :call_me_hand:

Love my flipper and the BLE Spam. Works perfect on the train when persons using their cams and calling friends.

Or annoying kids, when they play music loud

You just jam their connection to the phone network?
lol
Tempting but highly illegal if found out, and in the US they have found out some people doing it.

They get only some connection messages. Nothing more.
In a crowded train - no one can see it. You can keep the flipper inside your bag. Open it , search for your waterbottle and press the button.

For me: use the headphones. Not everyone likes your music or would be in your video.
