Something a bit uncommon?

I performed an xG3 nipple install a few days ago.

(not directly behind nipple, but in/under areola)

CW: needle install (obv), mild nudity (nipple), dangerous things

Unfortunately much of the interesting parts of the recording was obscured by hands, but you get the last bit of action:

Sheā€™s been posting updates in the BHD Discord; healing appears to be going well.

There might be more installs like this in the pipelineā€¦

Just be sure sheā€™s aware that using magnets to keep something like a nipple shield attached could cause tissue to be pinched and necrosis / infection to result.

I believe this is known and donā€™t think any ā€˜long-termā€™ mounting is intended, but will pass along a reminder. Thanks!

Cool. Yeah I think a lot of people donā€™t get how little time it takes to destroy tissue. Tourniquets are a prime exampleā€¦ when youā€™re bleeding out itā€™s fine to lose an arm but if youā€™re using it for hemostasis, it isnā€™t recommended to use for any longer than 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on the area of the body. Smaller elements like fingers etc have far less recommended time.

My point is if she figures she could wear a shield even for just a few hours, it could be causing tissue damage.

Iā€™ve got two Installs for you!

The -p0
It was painful without anesthetics, and the skin was surprisingly tough. I think next time Iā€™ll try to make the incision not on the palm, but instead about 1 cm farther to the outside of the hand, where the skin isnā€™t as sturdy. That area also has a lot of movement, which makes surface skin healing take longer. I ripped the wound open several times (just on surface level) while working on stuff or carrying firewood, and it was really frustrating.

At Chaos Communication Congress
Here, I did an installation in a friend during the Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg. The receiver was in pain and made some terrifying sounds, which caused me to shake more then usualā€”something you can actually see in the video! :scream:

But theyā€™re happy with the magnet so far.

That last video, all I was thinking was ā€˜breathe, deep breathes!ā€™ but it works out ok. Not sure if the background music helps though in terms of elevated heart rate. Pretty cool though.

Sorry. I watched these in reverse order. Video 1 is insane. I could not have done that without having something to numb the area. You clearly have lot of self control to withstand that.

How did it finally heal? How did you keep tearing it? Normal.movements or were you doing something which required you to (I donā€™t know) grip hard or use force? I recently did a knife edge install on a xMagic on my right hand and didnā€™t realise how much I just use the outside of my hand to push doors open (I use our fire escape so the doors open outwards and are very heavy - incidental exercise over using the elevator).

I am very impressed.

Got an Image from two days ago, Its still healing, it was held closed with superglue, the remains of it still can be seen on the image.

The install was performed 5 Days ago

One time i dropped my phone, in a reflex to catch it i moved my hand really fast and slammed into a door knob and the wound hit it perfectly

Another time i moved alot of firewood and somehow i slammed wood into it.

Love it. Also thanks for accommodating the non metric amongst us!

The healing looks really good. I will be interested in knowing how it performs on your palm. I suspect, once it properly heals and seats itself, it will be a great spot for an install. Although it clearly requires dedication and commitment for such results.

To be honest I would love to do it but am nowhere near as brave. Well done.

Permissions donā€™t allow embedding but itā€™s fine. It was a clean perfect removal all the way to the end where you wiped your finger over the incision hahah  Likely fine, so yeah very nice job overall.

Wow, when you said it wandered into your wrist, it really wandered into your wrist! āŠ™ā–‚āŠ™

Beautifully executed extraction. āœ§ą“¦ąµą“¦ą“æ( ^į—œ^ ) Thanks for sharing how itā€™s done. I might want to remove my NExT at some point to make room for something else.

Thanks, and yes, not the smartest looking back back, but I did clean my hands first

Thanks, it was my first
Spend some time thinking about it before you start. If I had to start again, I would pick a different scalpel blade shape.

How did you coat it? Got any images of it?

Coated with FDA16 and soaked in IPA/Chlorhexadine for 1 year.

Here I leave my payment chip installation from Puerto Rico, I think I am the only person on this Island who has a payment chip
