Took apart grannyās old laptop to scrap it for ddr4 and an ssdā¦ I beg to differ. The fan literally would not move.

Iāve friends in the pawn shop business. Long story short, Playstations and XBoxes have a distinctā¦ aroma, when full of cockroaches (both alive and dead) and all their excrement. This is why Iām very standoffish with used electronics, until I know theyāre clean and not going to spew filth when handled.
Please excuse me, Iām gonna go dry heave for a bit.

I keep my stuff incredibly clean. And yes, Iāve been mocked for the fact that I never have food or drinks on my desk and donāt allow anyone to place drinks anywhere near my keyboard.
I thought that the people who leave coffee stains on their laptop screens were gross enoughā¦ Or at least I hope that those brown marks on other peopleās computers are coffee and not something worse.

Itās kinda died down due to backwash from politics, but just a couple of years ago, you couldnāt have an issue show up in the news about xxxxx, but the next news story would be "Elon Musk has visionary plan to solve xxxxx! "

this reminds me of the time I lent one of my nice UPSs to my brother who then got a roach infestation. He failed to properly handle the roach problem and one day called me saying the UPS is beeping with āavr relay weldā showing on the screen.
I got the UPS working again but it was a two day process of taking the bagged UPS, fogging the inside of the bag with bengal roach spray for a few hours. then painstakingly disassembling the UPS to itās various component parts and washing them thoroughly with hot water, alcohol, then distilled.
The āAVR relay weldā message was because a roach fried itself on the opposite side of the PCB from the relay. Roaches are gross man.
