The antišŸš«-derailmentšŸšƒ & threadšŸ§µ hijackingšŸ”« threadšŸ§µ ā‰

I thought about doing it that wayā€¦
but I feel like I read some story of someone getting hardcore hassled by cops over itā€¦ like possibly getting charged? idk I donā€™t remember exactlyā€¦ but there was something

also my wife would probably not being a willing participant in itā€¦ the usual rules are ā€œas long as it doesnā€™t effect or involve me fair gameā€

I think I read that 5th 3rd bank allows multiple cards?.. I might need to try to leverage that

I donā€™t think the trick is ACTUALLY what they can and canā€™t doā€¦ they clearly CAN, I think the trick is going to be getting someone to care ENOUGH to actually get you what you need, not just ā€œhereā€™s the standard options, otherwise fuck offā€
ā€¦ all without breaking rules 1 and 2

Funkyā€¦ But for finding the North direction, I preferred the idea of the NorthSense. Kind of implanted (well the attachment points) and self-contained.

Itā€™s both more practical but also not. Iā€™m really not comfortable with transdermals. I canā€™t stop thinking theyā€™re going to get caught in something and get ripped off :confounded:
Not to mention infections

Thatā€™s something thatā€™s worth solving IMHO. If it wasnā€™t for the infection risk, Iā€™d get a few implants with external hardware. This would have a lot of potential.

I must say this has to do with me and my lifestyle. I value freedom of movement and functionality a lot.
Iā€™m into parkour, climbing, extreme sports, urbex, survival and definitely more adventurous that the average person. I get bruises and scratches all over. So having something sticking out of my body like a piercing or transdermal is not an option.
But I can totally see why someone with a much more tidy and classy life who values aesthetics would get a transdermal.

I guess what Iā€™m saying is that bivouacking in the wild with transdermals sounds like a bad idea.

Weird series of questions and general hackery advice

Iā€™m currently Swan diving into smart automation in my office since I have little better to do with my life lol

My desk uses a standing desk frame, primarily just to make the desk adjustable, not for standing usually just up or down a few inches depending on mood

Itā€™s a fezibo brand, generic Chineseā€¦. But the controller has what looks like a rj11 connector on it

I know for sure that this connector is for their corner desk version that uses 2 frames, to control both at the same time from only one controller

For literally no meaningful purpose, my Adhd brain now wants to setup some kind of smart automation tie in through this connectorā€¦ seems plausible to my simple brain

But what Iā€™m curious on is, in general hacker stuff how would one go about decoding a signal or whatever itā€™s sending between controllers
ā€¦WITHOUT magic smoke?

@Equipter
Could this be a job for the flippers gpio pins?
Pretty to new to hacking stuff via digital digital means,
But Iā€™m motivated to try to learnā€¦ just donā€™t wanna smoke the controller I probably canā€™t replace

The thought occurs to reach out to manufacturer and try and play that gameā€¦ but I highly doubt Iā€™d get past ā€œhow do I turn it onā€ customer service level, and reach anyone with any technical understandingā€¦.
And even then they would likely refuse to give me any info because Chinese companies tend to try to be secretive to prevent their own knock offs from being knocked off lol

TLDR but might be what you need

I I believe you would plug in an oscilloscope or the flipper to the non power pins and see what comes out? I donā€™t see how that could smoke the controller.
The alternative is to look inside the controller and if you understand circuits see what chip does what and then refer to the datasheet.
Iā€™m just guessing

Ah but you see, this is me we are talking about

Assume the worst, and then it will only be slightly worse than your expectations

When I am out With my foot on the tub and a handful of tp - like a cavedweller

At home, I use a bidet.

I donā€™t want those for aesthetics. But if it was possible to get the skin to seal well and bond with the implant, Iā€™d be looking into a transdermal socket with a connection to an electrode array or something along those lines.

For the time being, Iā€™m going to stick to Amalā€™s subdermal implants.

Oh well in that caseā€¦ Iā€™m in as long as it doesnā€™t proteude too much. Like a usb port. Iā€™d call it my usbhole.

More seriously what about a large piece of something transparent and it bonds to the skin around. Human translucent Gameboy.

Or a little slot for a pocket knife/ firestarter.

If only there was a biohacker friendly sticker they could display that would let us know discretely

If thereā€™s not an xTooth with bone conduction, microphone, and Bluetooth by 2030, Iā€™ll just go ahead extract my bad teeth and get some new ones.

Welp, school sucks now. Our new instructor with ā€œ10 years of experienceā€ is teaching us her ā€œstreet knowledgeā€ and only touches on the book stuff, and itā€™s all wrong. I can see my whole class, and the fire academy thatā€™s now taking part in our EMT class, failing the national cert exams.
Watching her teach and answer questions is a great demonstration of the Dunning Kruger effect lol

I thought I was completely fine with needles after the xG3 needles and scalpel work for the flexMT. Got a few shots of antibiotics and steroids and barely felt it, use to the plasma needle and doesnā€™t really hurt anymore. However when the plasma center needed to draw blood, I almost yelped with the tiny needle XD

This is interesting:

Youā€™d be suprised by what a formal complaint can accomplish at a university. Start with, Iā€™m paying xxx dollars to learn the subject matter per national standards, instead the teacher is ignoring the curriculum and presenting factually incorrect information.

Record some of the class with specific examples.

Itā€™s a community college, so Iā€™m not sure what all a complaint will do. I am going to start keeping records and taking pictures of the white board. I shouldā€™ve done that today. Iā€™ll ask a classmate to send me a pic he took that has the wrong info on the board.

Community colleges care about this a lot. They have to deal with more litigation related to meeting standards. I guarantee theyā€™ll do what they can if you make a big enough stink.
