And, luckily enough, he was last here only a month ago…so MAyBeEE he will pop back on.

He’s a good egg anyway, so it would be nice to see him back regardless

It has crank windows!
ヾ(ļ¼ ć‚œā–½ć‚œļ¼ ļ¼‰ćƒŽ

And knobs on the dashboard!

And they sell this for cheaper than the cars we’ve been stuck with these days!? If anyone comes out with a full sized cargo van or small box-truck like this I’m gonna hafta look into trading my brand new Ford.

On a related note, for those who drive electric vehicles, how’s the charging experience in your region? Are the plugs getting to be more standardised and interoperable? Do you hafta use apps or can you use real payment methods? Debit? Cash? I was going to get electric but went for combustion because all the local charging stations require an app, (and a different one at each).

Noticed on these posts that the auto link thingymajig for lodestone currently links to the Lodestone PICO even when we might be talking about other lodestone products, and wondered if that was still the desired effect?

Seriously, go look at the site. The whole point is a modular vehicle you can reconfigure on your own. I know theres a suv option where you remove the rear cab wall, put a shell over the bed and install seats. Given how obviously perfect these would be as fleet delivery vehicles (Oreillys?), I can’t imagine a cargo option not being in the lineup.

Note: Couldn’t find a way to delete rear seats / interior in the ā€œbuild your ownā€ website, but it’s early times yet.

Bronco II, much?

This is sweet! I put one in the driver’s side mirror of my last 2 NC Miatas. My next step it to add one for the trunk and the passenger mirror.

PS: Be careful with that rear finish panel on your NA, uncracked finish panels are like gold.

I think it was your post I’d seen in the show off using your implant thread a while ago that made me wanna share mine as well! Using the mirrors was such a smart move too, I loved it!

Also, really? Haven’t had to look for one yet luckily, but good to know! All the more reason to be gentle with my baby.

weeeelllll… to be fair, I think you might hate WSL

If Docker is giving you trouble, I watched these videos without knowing anything before starting down the path I’m on now… and I still kinda hate Docker, but it’s because I don’t quite get it all… especially the networking… but here ya go;

I also now use lazydocker…

Nope, it’s linux.

The problem is that it was built by, and for, uber programming nerds. You have to have the exact, absolutely letter perfect commands in perfect syntax. Which means you have to have it perfectly memorized, or rely on the copy and paste method.

So you understand everything perfectly.
Or you’re effectively blind.

They best thing that could happen to Linux would be for the command line to be permanently banned. But uber programming nerds love command line, so it’ll always be the o/s of people who live, breathe, and die by the command line.

Awesome!

Ah, still awesome, but why for?

Are these like the silicone implants that make cool patterns under the skin or is there something else you can do with them?

Sphere magnet sounds interesting, not sure why it grabs my interest more than a cylinder does though…

They’ll definitely make a bump and be felt so yeah you can make esthetic patters out of them (and you get 5 at once). Pearling is also a thing but I’ll let you look it up XD
We were able to source them so we’re putting them out there and see what people come up with.

They would flip easier and might be more comfortable over all but I don’t think it’s worth it given how much more difficult they would be to make. And you might get less sensing too..

Also, you need ball bearings for your subdermal electric motors, you know…

I’d be more interested in subdermals that look mechanical. But I’ve yet to see something that scratches that itch. The ribs and acme screws are not quite there.

But knowing humanity, chances are that a bunch of people are going to end up with a blinky and bumpy…

For all intensive purposes, the phrase works because ultimately you knew what I meant

Lol yeah I’m just poking fun =P people retain the right to say whatever they want, but especially if it’s a conscious choice I retain the right to make fun of it. Just like Cassox and @hoker saying height like ā€œheythā€ cause they’re from the southwest

I dont think I’ve ever heard (or noticed) this pronunciation before.

I did a quick youtube search and came up dry.
Im.goinh to keep an ear out for it from now on.

Could it be from the pronunciation of other dimension nouns like ā€œlengthā€, ā€œwidthā€, and ā€œbreadthā€.
So pronounced ā€œheigthā€
or is it simply cowboy twang? :cowboy_hat_face:
