I have also made it case sensitive

Thanks!

So there is 2 pages:

One is " https://dangerousthings.com/product/xmagic/" (now in stock, 149 USD)
another is "https://dangerousthings.com/product/xM1/" (out of stock, 120 USD)

The xM1 is the older, Mifare-only implant. The xMagic is the equivalent of an xM1 and an xEM in one unit.

You’re not gonna get a read for 2 weeks after the install …
How did you program the chip?

What are the physical dimensions of this chip? I couldnt find that info anywhere on the page. I know the NeXT was a big boy and im curious how this one compares. Looks like a good excuse to finally pull the trigger on my other hand!

From the DT sale page I see this.

Both chips are encased in a biologically safe 3x13mm cylindrical bioglass tube.

Straight from the bag:

Same size as the xG3

Same as the xm1 also…

I didn’t catch that this was a 3mm implant, I figured it was still the 2mm glass as the NExT
:man_shrugging:t2:

Injector needles a bit bigger, and you can slightly tell the size difference once installed… but makes no meaningful difference

it is now.

I hope you got yours

The xmagic is still in stock though right? Or was he looking for just the xm1? Maybe I didn’t follow.

Also another question.
Cause I’m simple minded. Lol.

Why does the xMagic have to be case sensitive to have it show the link?
It’s not like if you type xmagic you’re trying to say something else?
I can see on the next. Cause it’s just a normal word. But on the other implants they’re original spelling.
Was just curious.

compared to what?

Tbh tho, NExT is quite small even in the x-series realm IMO. 2.1mm x 14mm IIRC, that’s not a 3mm wide chip implant at least.

The 2.1mm vs 3mm makes quite a difference during injection …
I’m curious about the difference in the read range of the T5577 between the NExT and the xMagic … Only time will tell

Well, 3 days after implantation both sides read consistently on the flipper :dolphin:

Edit: and the :pm3:

Maybe a silly question.
The one side is the same chip as the xM1, right? And the other is the xEM

Yes that is correct. One side is the T5577 chip (xEM) and the other side is a “magic” mifare chip (xM1)
