Making a new sensory weaver, this time no modular slot just to see how slim off the shelf parts builds can get for a specific sensor set. (Easier for others to follow making if not having good soldering skills yet)

85A TPU band, to help flex, with haptics inlaid - hoping no cables melted due to hot end near them….

Just a friendly reminder to occasionally clean out the shop.

OR… You’ll eventually have to, and find yourself rediscovering treasures like a 6 pounder round cannon shot, that you’d totally forgot about.

Quite the jaw breaker

That’s like saying you should regularly clean the pockets of your jackets to prevent periodically finding that magical unexpected $20 next season!

Well… While treasures are neat, I’m losing my shop space. So I’ve got to condense to fit down into a storage shed. Maybe 1/10 the space, and not really something I can work out of. The tragedy is that I’m going to have to part with some treasures due to the shear volume of it.

I’m still working on getting the cannon.

Come to think of it, I do have some heavy wall pipe, a welder, and some propane…

This was a triumph.
I’m making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
It’s hard to overstate my satisfaction.

I wasn’t going to share this, as its Version 1.0, and I will be making a V2.0 soon ™ But as a teaser

What’s inside my Hammy box?

A selection of Hammy tools of course

There are more beneath the surface in the lower layer, and in the lid, but you’ll have to wait until V2.0 to see them all.

I have the new Pelican case, and most of Hammys tools, I’m just working on the layout and ill share once it’s done

He’s gonna be getting all the goodies I made leading up to Defcon that I neglected to send out because my brain was mush. That’s all. Field meter pro, flipper repeaters, extenders, etc

I printed the cube some time ago and was instantly reminded why I should not be trusted with super glue.

I’m currently looking at a “!! BLTouch failed to deploy” but I’m too tired to troubleshot so I just restarted the print…

:crossed_fingers:t2:

I’ve encountered this error twice now, and the first time it printed just fine after I restarted the print with the same gcode file.

I hope that the BLTouch isn’t acting up because of the rudimentary enclosure that I added, but it’s been working for months so I doubt it. At the end of the day, it’s a cheap Chinese Crapality product, so problems are not surprising…

If only those things were made to DT quality standards…

:robot_windows:

I see that you used one of those fancy build plates with a cool texture on it. I like the finish but I’d prefer if those things worked with ABS.

In any case, that it looks amazing!

Looks awesome…
Reminds me of your desk mat, was that an intentional design choice?
