I’m pretty sure you will be fine, the ratio of
Time:Faulty
is extreme.
The number of occurances that just waiting a little longer solves all issues is super common.
Whereas, the number of faulty devices is almost unheard of.
When its not time, it’s normally operator error, physics, lack of knowledge/understanding, or unrealistic expectations (often a combination of 2 or more of those)
From what I recall, 6-8 weeks for a Blinky is much more realistic.
There are a number of threads that go something like this:
“hey, I just got an xSIID, it worked straight after install, now it doesn’t, please help”
“dont worry, give it at least 2 weeks, probably longer to see the light, the swelling will make it harder to see the light”
“it’s been 2 weeks, I can read the chip again, but I can’t see the light, please help”
“give it a couple more weeks, its probably inflamation and the led is possibly facing inward”
“it’s been 4 weeks and I cant see my xSIID, even in a dark room, and I’ve tried on all the readers I have, what can I do?”
“Chill mutha fucka, chill, give it a little more time, the blinky will show when its ready man, come back in a week or two if theres been no change…”
“Guess what guys!? My blinky is blinking
I guess I just needed to wait…”
“Yay, congrats, welcome to the club .gif, etc.”
“I have another question?, it said the xSIID had 2k memory, mine only shows 1k”

You’re currently in phase
“Chill mutha fucka, chill”
(but you’re already chilled)
Next phase
Worst case scenario, Dangerous Things will sort you out, they always do.
