Just kidding
Hopefully it’ll keep going at that rate, that’d only be another 8 days or so (minus whatever lag they have on reporting the numbers).
@amal you could do with a featured video, explaining what you do. All the older videos at least just assume you know that implanting rfid is a thing
I have been watching from switzerland and iceland today
Guess I know what I’m doing with my extra PCs while I’m working. I gotchu.
Update needed here, for 2 nights I have been watching it in a side window with my computer on mute.
Thanks!
“We would watch 5000 hours and we would watch 5000 more, to March this dangerous army to the front of your doooooor!”
Well, there’s nobody home at my place except the cat. She’s basically been watching 24-7.
I think she’s starting to get ideas. Yesterday I woke up with her nose to nose for the first time ever and I’m a little creeped out. All she needed was a teeny tiny pillow with which to smother me.
Thank you. Alright everyone,
I know you like the Lower app and uploading the videos straight to the forums @amal , but would hosting the DT club videos on youtube (and unlisting them) help view numbers at all? Or maybe reuploading all the various interviews/speeches you’ve given onto the channel. Those interviews are all decent length videos and very interesting content, and should also help increase watch hours for the channel I would think?
yes absolutely it would help… it’s just a bit less under my control… like the yt channel could, at any time, be taken down because somebody doesn’t like implants… that kind of thing… a little scary to me for these kinds of context critical little videos… but i will definitely consider some ideas
Hmmm good point, hadn’t thought of that. Plus they are pretty short videos so may not be as helpful increasing watch hours compared to all the longer interviews/podcasts/etc
This isn’t an Apple TV issue, but rather different people interpreting the intent of the HDMI standards differently. A lot of TVs overscan (crop in) to mimic the behaviour of scan lines on a CRT, where you had the full frame and also a ‘safe’ area that you could be confident would display on all TVs.
The Apple TV (and for that matter most devices these days) use the full resolution of HDMI, your TV is just showing you a ‘safe’ area. It probably does this for other devices too. Sometimes TVs have settings for this that are called weird things, but look for a Zoom option, or an Input Setup menu where you can choose device type.
I just opened two more tabs with different videos playing in a loop. Does this triple my productivity?!
This work ??
Dunno, it’s streaming three different videos but I don’t know how that gets calculated when all the streaming is going to the same computer.
I actually have 2 different computers both playing the DT playlist on loop all day…so if yours doesn’t count mine should…
