Hey! I’m planning on buying myself a xLED implant, and trying to make myself a lil accessory to make it glow, it could be just a bracelet or even a “ring” (coil) for my thumb connected to a bracelet
As anyone successfully made on of these bracelet? If someone did, how can I make it myself and what is the range
Thanks!

I’m currently creating a HF Field generator using what is being called a Stiffler Exciter circuit.

I’ll be updating this thread with my progress.

Arent there typically a pair of capacitors on the crystal to allow it to oscillate?

I admitantly did little research on how the crystal oscillator works. I ran a few different circuits to find which worked best with a printed circuit board and this configuration gives me the best range with a 3v input. Although I’m open to other configurations this uses the least amount of components. Ideally I would like to make something that is simple for a beginner solderer to easily build and play with.

Im no EE i just thought it was odd to see a crystal without the standatd pair of caps. But if it works it works right.

Has anybody tried making a bracelet to power a xled/xsiid?

It seems like a super obvious idea to me, any reason it wouldn’t work? Can you not get that kind of range? Seems to me like a copper coil as the body of the bracelet with a rechargeable battery pack on it would be relatively simple.

in fact, i’ll move your post to the first one
