The anti🚫-derailment🚃 & thread🧵 hijacking🔫 thread🧵 ⁉

Took me a while to figure out were the capacitor used to be… It was originally nested between the diodes in the top right of the board.

Man, that thing got absolutely destroyed.

BEHOLD! The power of Magic Smoke!

Only because It is not in the DT store yet, but yeah, you’re correct I can direct it to Hammy’s Tindie store until it is released on the DT store

I honestly would prefer it to link to the main thread and if DT members would like one they can contact me. At least until a version in the store is released. Historically i give these out to the members here for pretty cheap if i charge at all since it was a community driven project. And with the flexies so close to release it will prompt a pricing restructure, i dont want people to get buyers remorse if they buy from my shop and then the prices all change.

Im working on getting the current repeaters to go passive, which means no need for the capacitor on top. the current design with the capacitors would probably get turned into little field detection units (i really like the form factor and find i use the prototype one i made a lot).

In today’s WTF file…

Whilst trying to order parts for my ford ranger, the kiddie at the desk, in total seriousness, said “Wait, did you say it’s a 1896 or 1996 ranger?” I actually had to tell him that in 1896 I would’ve been in a horse and buggy.

Maybe he thought you were the ghost of Henry Ford looking for parts

Did the forum just glitch?
Some replys disappeared and some days old likes / replies reanimated themselves.
All back to normal now.
