We have an election due by May. You could seriously be elected on the basis of doing what you say. It could be as easy as “the country is fucked and all I am going to do is try to help you through it, and maybe fix a road or two…”.

Our biggest problem is we are such a large country (bigger even than Texas apparently: I don’t really believe that) and we have such a small population that we can’t do proper infrastructure.

Still, as some have suggested, yourself included, vote with your feet!

I’ve driven across the US twice (Los Angeles to Atlanta), and there is nothing so boring as the empty areas between the cities in Texas. I was so relieved to hit the Louisiana border.

Eh, an abundance of caution. In retrospect, maybe something more like, “Nah, we’re exposed to enough advertising,” would have been better. Regardless, you all seem keen so we’ll get 'er done.

I picked up a Wi-Fi board, transparent shell, and RGB screen backlight.

I had intentions of installing the backlight, but my crappy little soldering iron gave up on me. It didn’t really get hot enough when I went to use it, so I decided not to proceed. Might pick up one of those fancy looking Pinecils.

I did switch out the case though. It’s lookin’ really good. Also managed to clean out some dust and pocket fluff that had gotten between the screen and it’s panel.

I did forget to put the iButton pins back in, but as I’ve never actually needed to use that functionality, and they have a tenancy to catch on my pocket, so I decided not to bother fixing it.

Once I get around to the RGB mod, I’ll update my Flipper Zero article.
