I know that place relatively well but not the parts around the amazon… I personally would avoid going to small towns in the middle of nowhere in that particular region to avoid running into guerrillas.

I believe the parts about people mysteriously disappearing… But not the UFOs… :grimacing:

What is it with you Americans going where we locals would never go.

:emoji_mindblown: :grimacing:

In any case, DT ships to Colombia, or at least used to when I lived there.

If its an unidentified flying object then we don’t know what it is because its unidentified.
Green men is not a default answer.

Thats a great question and i would like to say something like
Inherent spirit of american exploration ect.
But i suspect its because we usually get away with it.
My fiancƩ is bourn and raised in rural zamboanga Philippines and i been there many times. Thay have M.I.L.F. rebels who were very nice to us when we visited.
I’ve never even saw rebels in the americas but low level mx. cartel dudes know how to party.
3rd world ā€œpoliceā€ are much more scary
Sorry for the rant

I had to Google milf rebels. Not what I thought initially

Me either
I didn’t mention it to them for obvious reasons

I wouldn’t tempt fate with the groups around Colombia, they might see you as a corrupted capitalist American or something. And kidnappings last for decades with those fucks…

I’m white, speak multiple languages, and can pass as a foreigner, and I’m still terrified. But I had family members, friends, and neighbors who were victims of those groups.

I grew up with news about car bombs every day and parking lots that had bomb sniffing dogs at the entrance. And I condemn those groups, especially those in democracies. Violence is not an acceptable way to spread political ideas in my book.

That is a good thing. Although the word ā€œterroristā€ is more fitting to the groups I’m talking about.

I’d be terrified to even talk to them. But I’ve never done drugs and don’t plan to start.

Sweet! Did you have to program your xMagic as a FDX-B tag or does the feeder recognize EM?

I:

  1. used they flipper to read one of my cat’s RFID chips, and saved it to the flipper
  2. used the flipper to edit the hex values to some new random value and saved it
  3. wrote it to the xMagic

My xMagic now reads as ISO FDX-B, I’m not sure if the feeder will accept other types

God damn my stupid memory forgetting to reply to people

This is probably an exceptionally dumb-o idea, but…

As many ā€œdid I break itā€ questions as we get, is there some way to include a non toxic marker in the x series?

Like a pellet of concentrated food dye. So if you really smack the shit out of it, and you get a greenish stain, you know it’s broken open.

99.9% of the time it’d just be mental reassurance that nothing’s wrong.

I get what you’re saying I think the concept is a great idea. Implementing it though… will need to do a lot of reset and likely it won’t see implemented in manufacturing for some time… if ever. Great concept though.

Im sorry to hear that
My condolences

I %100 agree

I didn’t see much drug use (the musicians were doing bumps)
More low key family kind of party’s but with random guys with guns who for some reason own a lot of exotic animals.

Except for some mushrooms once every 5 years or so i haven’t used drugs in 20 years.
Im not looking for trouble in foreign lands and i hope someday these places have peace and stability

IMHO, the places where violent groups had a significant impact on the culture can burn in a ditch. In fact, those places will burn themselves down so no intervention is required.

A part of the cultural influence is caused by violent groups mingling with academia. For example, the Universidad Nacional de Colombia has been a guerrilla recruiting ground for ages… Other universities used to tell their students to vote for a candidate who used to belong to such a group…

Seriously, don’t do drugs… You’ll end up thinking that guys with guns are ok at a family party…

Sunday became my cat’s day… BUT:

I have a high powered flashlight. It burns if I leave it too long so it’s difficult to get a photo. The weird lump DOES block light. This in my mind is a good sign that it is clotted blood or scar tissue and not a glass cap.

Or am I mistaken?

:person_shrugging: … maybe its x-ray time.

It will be Xray time when major events stop taking place (so seriously can we just pause earth for like a week so I can catch up).

But yes, I see your point and am trying.

There’s a fine line between seeking advice on when to get a proper medical diagnostic, and supplanting medical diagnostics with non-medical advice. I’m just super sensitive to it is all, because of the liability exposure.

This is entirely understandable.

To be clear for bystanders following, I don’t think the xG3 is damaged, but it’s possible so I’m going on the safe side.

Amal/Whoever;
In the unlikely event that the cap is off: If I can only get the xG3 out (within my capabilities), is the cap itself super dangerous to leave? I’d try to get it out obv, but I will also not stress it too hard if its low-risk.

To clarify, the lump seems stable, not rubbing bone directly.

I guess that would depend on if it has sharp edges that could cut or not. The material itself is not an issue though. Given that is seems to have stabilized where its at, I doubt it’s a danger unless acted on by an outside force sufficient to cut its way deeper into your hand.

Sigh

I think I’mma put ā€œhand Xrayā€ and call it a day

The radiologist will probably think ā€œyeah, this guy is definitely a doctor, gald that this is not written by handā€
