It comes with a new injector last I knew.

Also re-using needles is a big no-no, sterile or not.

The whole ā€œseeing through your eyelidsā€ part is what fucked with me.

Now we need;

  • To solve the focus problem.
  • Find a way to avoid having to stick fingers in your eye repeatedly.

If you’re ok with injecting nanoparticles into your retinas, it might be possible to solve those two problems simultaneously… But that sounds rather permanent. Although I can’t be the only one who would get it as long as normal color vision isn’t affected.

Still, it sounds like that could seriously mess with your sleep… I can’t handle a little light, let alone the IR that makes it through my eyelids…

I wonder if a thickish sleep mask could solve this

Given that it’s infrared, sleeping in a nice uniformly temperature air conditioned room should solve that.

@Amal, You thinking about doing it? Dangerous things contacts, that is.

Also the human brain can adapt pretty well to things.

Only put one and leave the other eye ā€œnaturalā€. After a bit your brain should be able to prioritize which eye in function of what you are looking at.

Definitely recommend them, here’s a link.

They take 4 or 8 C batteries (can’t remember which) and they last for ~8months. They’re easy to clean too. I’ve had these for years with no issues.

Do note that a persistent pet can force their way in while the other one is eating - this can be fixed with a secondary enclosure. Also I do recommend getting the stainless steel dishes over the plastic ones. Plastic dishes can cause cat acne apparently.

It’s definitely nice knowing exactly how much each pet had eaten. Much easier to keep an eye on their health that way. Plus its less stressful for them since they’re guaranteed their own food - less competition.

Unsurprisingly, most cyborgs are privacy minded…

And we all know that those apps are more controlling that anything you can actually implant.

I was in Mexico for a month then headed to Colombia and Ecuador/amazon
Im more concerned about ending up in some Spanish language unsolved misterios. That ā€œdoctorā€ will be telling the story forever.
I did just walk out in the middle of his lights in the sky talk.
If you see this x-ray somewhere else let us know lol
P.s. its a real plastic x-ray
