I don’t regret the install in that position, i rarely notice that there is a magnet installed.
I have one of the old xg3 v1 installed there and i don’t really get good lifting strength from it and no sensing. but now that there is only the v2 available to buy you should get good lifting strength.

careful with ferrofluid. getting a good clean result is a process. if you buy pre-made ferrofluid online itll be trash after a couple months. if i get some time ill do a small update on my little experiment with ferrofluid
