This seems a little off. It handicaps newer posts for no good reason. How about 2 per month, max of 5 months as a cut off?

I know what you are saying, and here are my thoughts; generally, most posts are read within a week (most āregularsā check in at least once a week, and actual āRegularsā check in daily.) I posted the āplace your voteā 5 days ago, So my thought process was
Give 'em a week, and anybody who is going to vote, will have voted.
HOWEVER
If you want to manage that, have at it.
Put together a list of the final contenders.
Build the poll with a cut off midnigt 31st December (Seattle time.)
upon completion
Iāll grant a badge to the winner(s)

I will go by the previous years method
So top 1o rather than the requirement to have 10 votes.
The result will be similar. but there may be more or fewer in the final poll.

I gotta tell ya, Iāve only won a few things in my lifeā¦ Vice president of my senior class, 3rd place in a Freddie Prinze Jr lookalike contest, and a 6 months supply of GasX due to some survey I filled out about IBS. BUT, this by far my favorite achievement ever.
Also keep a look out for our new sitcom coming to Netflix this fall.
